A free workshop being held at Lakehead University Orillia this weekend will explore environmental sustainability, political economy and social justice.
The Sustainable Communities Workshop, hosted by Lakehead’s Research Centre for Sustainable Communities, will run on Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in room 2014 at the Orillia campus.
The workshop will include presentations on sustainability in Ontario’s small municipalities, the media and hashtag activism, sustainability in local ecosystems, and creating a base for sustainable knowledge and education. The full agenda is included below.
