This cherished tradition will feature readings by MP Adam Chambers, radio host Carey Moran, returning reader Krista Storey, and Green Haven’s Janelle Bartosek. Live holiday music by Sean Patrick and guests, along with seasonal treats and warm beverages, will make for a magical evening.

For many, the holidays are a time of joy, but for those affected by gender-based violence (GBV), it can be a particularly challenging season. Women experiencing abuse are often more isolated during this time, with studies showing that domestic violence reports spike by as much as 30 per cent during the holidays due to heightened stress and financial strain.

By attending this event, you’ll be supporting organizations that provide vital assistance to women and children affected by GBV. Every ticket purchased goes directly toward helping local women and children in our community escape violence, find safety, and rebuild their lives.

This holiday season, take the opportunity to give back while enjoying a timeless classic. A Christmas Carol reminds us of the power of generosity and compassion— values that resonate deeply with the work of Green Haven Shelter for Women and Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie.

Get your tickets today and join us for an evening of tradition, community, and hope. Together, we can help ensure no one faces violence alone this holiday season.
