The York Regional Police Male Chorus will be performing a concert in support of the Building Hope campaign at Westmount Congregation, 23 Westmount Dr. S. on Saturday, Oct .27 at 7 p.m. (doors open 6:30 p.m.)

The Chorus performs a wide variety of music from sacred to Broadway show tunes to rock n' roll. Since its formation in 1991 the chorus has entertained audiences as far as the United Kingdom, Newfoundland and Quebec.

It has performed on Parliament Hill in Ottawa for the annual Canadian Police and Peace Officers' Memorial and at the Ontario Police Memorial Service at Queen's Park in Toronto.

Singing in four-part harmony, the Male Chorus performs more than 20 times each year, raising thousands of dollars for charitable organizations locally.

The Chorus will donate all of the ticket sales to Orillia's Building Hope project (orillialighthouse.ca/building-hope). Building Hope will be a 10,000 sq. ft. community service hub located in the heart of downtown Orillia behind the Common Roof. It will provide year-round emergency shelter and other services for men, women, youth and families.

Building Hope’s vision has been seen by all levels of government and all people in our community who recognize the need for this hub and whose heart is filled with compassion to serve the vulnerable. Westmount is helping to Build Hope.

So, come on out to the concert and bring a friend. Enjoy the music and Build Hope. Tickets are $10 dollars and available at the Church Office. Phone 705-326-9252.
