The Couchiching Ontario Health Team (OHT) and Couchiching Family Health Team are excited to announce the opening of the Couchiching OHT Unattached Clinic.
This new clinic, located at the Couchiching Family Health Team, is now open to serve patients in the Couchiching region who do not have a primary care provider.
The Couchiching OHT Unattached Clinic will be led by a team of dedicated nurse practitioners offering comprehensive care to individuals of all ages. Patients can either self-refer or be referred by healthcare navigators and other professionals in the community.
The clinic’s primary focus is to provide preventative care, manage chronic conditions, and address acute medical needs, all aimed at preventing chronic disease exacerbations and reducing unnecessary emergency room visits.

Services offered include:
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
- Conducting routine check-ups
- Ordering procedures and diagnostic tests
- Referring patients to specialists
- Prescribing medications
- Managing chronic health conditions
- Additionally, the clinic is equipped to support same-day appointments for urgent needs, ensuring timely access to care.
Clinic hours: As of Sept. 16, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
