The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes for Labour Day on Monday, Sept. 2:
Curbside waste collection and waste drop-off facilities
- Waste collection is ongoing as there is no change to the county’s waste collection schedule.
- All county waste drop-off facilities are closed on Monday, Sept. 2 except for the Matchedash facility, which is open on its regular schedule on Sunday, Sept. 1 and Monday, Sept. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Sept. 2 (with the exception of Route 4).
- Route 4 only will be operating a Sunday schedule on Monday, Sept. 2.
- Return to regularly scheduled services for all routes on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
- Please visit nextlinx.simcoe.ca to check all route schedules.
County administration centre (Midhurst) and Service Simcoe Contact Centre
- The administration centre, including the Service Simcoe Contact Centre, will be closed to the public on Monday, Sept. 2.
Ontario Works and children services
- All Ontario Works and children services offices are closed on Monday, Sept. 2.
Lake Simcoe Regional Airport
- The Lake Simcoe Regional Airport will be operating as usual on Monday, Sept. 2.
Simcoe County Museum
- The museum will be open for its regularly scheduled hours (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
- For information on what’s happening at the Museum, visit museum.simcoe.ca.
Simcoe County Archives
- The archives is closed on Monday, Sept. 2.
