TWIN LAKES SECONDARY SCHOOL

Earlier this month, Twin Lakes Secondary School participated in the Orillia Pitch-In Day.

Three students from the new Partners in Education, Adventure, and Community (PEAC) program took the initiative of organizing it. The PEAC class has organized many projects that work toward improving the area, including the clothing drive for the Salvation Army they ran in the winter.

Twin Lakes Secondary School students covered a large portion of their neighbourhood and picked up about 40 bags of garbage, recycling and a few odd objects.

Meghan Rogers, Dylan Brett and Ally Exel, the Grade 9 students who planned Pitch-In Day, have a focus on cleaning up the community. They intend to keep making our community cleaner and growing their leadership opportunities throughout their high school experience.
