ORILLIA FIGURE SKATING CLUB

Congratulations to Daniel Patriquin (Orillia Figure Skating Club) and his partner Sophia Gover (Barrie Skating Club) on their first place finish at the GTSA Summer Skate in North York!
Dan and Sophia were in first place after the Pattern Dances and had a strong Free Dance skate to capture the gold medals in the PreNovice Ice Dance category. In addition, Dan was able to finish first in the Men's Star 6 Free Skate.
They are looking forward to the finale of the Summer Series Skates with their next competition at Octoberfest in Barrie Oct. 11-14. Good luck, Dan and Sophia!
