The Orillia Lawn Bowling Club closed out August with an in-house Fun Day generously sponsored by Leah Cavanaugh of Century 21.

Rain didn’t dampen the fun for participants who played four games of 4-3-2-1 (cutthroat) bowling — a game in which players compete as individuals to garner top score.

After a tight race with stiff competition, final standings were as follows:

First — Brian Mins (76 points)
Second — Greg Irvine (75 points)
Third — Harold Graham (73 points)
Fourth — Pat Kane (65 points)
Consolation — Nancy Marzano (newcomer to the club and all-around good sport)

Many thanks to Leah Cavanaugh of Century 21 for her generous donations and provision of prizes to all participants.
