The U13-2 Orillia Kings team will be hosting their Orange Jersey lacrosse game against the Kawartha Lake Fury at Rotary Place tonight.
The game starts at 7 p.m.
The Orange Jersey project uses the power of sport as a way to educate today’s young athletes and works to create awareness of inter-generational impact of the Indian Residential school system in Canada and strengthens the path towards truth and reconciliation with Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
The game will have a pre-game ceremony on the floor.
We encourage all to come out in Orange and support this important initiative.
