The Wes Brennan Construction Orillia Jr. Royals remain undefeated on the season after a 10-1 victory on Sunday in Richmond Hill.

Nolan MacNeal and James Pritchard combined for a complete-game no-hitter.

MacNeal was dominant in the first four innings striking out six. He was replaced in the fifth for pitch-count reasons.

Pritchard came on for three innings of relief recording three strikeouts.

The pitchers also got help from a perfect Royals defence that did make a single error.

The offence was potent as well, racing off to a five-run lead in the first inning and scoring another five in the remaining six innings.

Chase Brennan led the offence with three hits while Teddy McCollum Kuntz, Kobe Geofroy, Andrew Browne, MacNeal and Jhett and Whyatt Winkel also recorded hits in the game.

The Royals' next action is May 27 in Creemore in a rematch of last year's final.

The next home games for the Royals are on Sunday, June 2 when the Royals host the Orangeville Bengals for a doubleheader at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
