ORILLIA LAWN BOWLING CLUB

The first tournament of the year was held this week at the Orillia Lawn Bowling Club on Commerce Road. It was an in-house event sponsored by Meridian Credit Union, Orillia.
Thirty bowlers of all skill levels enjoyed a fun-filled day with great weather.
The winning team was composed of Lynn Stenson, Mike Kimber and skip Sue O’Neill.
The next tournament will be on July 1, including a barbecue, to celebrate Canada Day!
Last Sunday concluded the three weeks of free bowling lessons. During the lessons, more than 80 residents learned about the exciting, fun and quite competitive sport of lawn bowling!
