OPP seized fentanyl, cash, two pellet guns, and 'paraphernalia related to drug trafficking,' from a Wasaga residence.

Area police arrested and charged three people suspected of selling cocaine and fentanyl in the Wasaga Beach and Collingwood area.

According to a news release from the Huronia West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), complaints centred around a Wasaga Beach address prompted a drug trafficking investigation and led to the arrest of the three people.

"After several weeks of investigating CSCU were able to form grounds and identify the occupants of the residence suspected of selling cocaine and fentanyl," states the news release.

The news release is scant on details and does not identify the three people, who were arrested at the Wasaga address on Nov. 20.

During the raid, investigators seized fentanyl, cash, two pellet guns, and "paraphernalia related to drug trafficking."

The three people who were arrested now face charges for possession of cocaine and fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking. All have been released and are due in court later.
