A cyclist was hit on a busy Orillia road this afternoon.
The collision took place after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Memorial Avenue and James Street West, with OPP, Orillia Fire, and paramedics attending the scene.
The victim, who was hit by a pickup truck, laid on the ground near the intersection before paramedics loaded him onto a stretcher and into an ambulance.
Orillia OPP did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
