Driver suffers 'serious injuries' in Horseshoe Valley Rd. rollover: OPP

Horseshoe Valley Road closed at Line 2 for ongoing investigation; police asking drivers to avoid the area

One person was taken to a Toronto-area hospital with "serious injuries" after a single-vehicle rollover on Horseshoe Valley Road in Oro-Medonte this morning. 

Orillia OPP says officers responded to the call, near Line 2, around 8 a.m. on Nov. 21, along with Simcoe County paramedics and township firefighters. 

The victim was the lone occupant in the vehicle, according to police. 

Horseshoe Valley Road is closed at Line 2 for the ongoing investigation. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team are on scene.
