Erratic driving complaint leads to impaired charge in Ramara

A complaint about an erratic driver in Ramara has resulted in a Minden Hills man being charged.

At about 6:20 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver.

They were told a white pickup truck was being driven erratically on Highway 12 South, near Brechin. The truck was soon located and the driver was arrested.

Benjamin Wolnowski, 48, has been charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs). He is scheduled to appear in court in Orillia in November. His driver’s licence will be suspended for 90 days and the vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
