The OPP is seeking the public's assistance after five puppies were intentionally drowned in Chisholm Township this month.

On June 14 at approximately 4 p.m., North Bay OPP responded to a complaint about a smaller white vehicle on Memorial Park Drive that threw a suspicious bag into Chisholm Creek. Police say it later floated to shore containing five dead puppies.

Officers are requesting the public's assistance to identify the person responsible.
