A 31-year-old Penetanguishene man is facing impaired driving charges after a crash that shut down a section of Highway 12 in the Midland area overnight.
Ontario Provincial Police say an eastbound minivan struck a parked OPP cruiser near Old Fort Road.
Both occupants have minor injuries.
Photos shared on social media by police show the minivan laying on its side.
The highway has reopened after being shut down between Wye Valley Road and the Old Fort off ramp for about six hours.
