Are you passionate about making a difference and helping build safer communities within Ontario? On Oct. 1, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be hosting a provincial recruitment day event at OPP General Headquarters (GHQ) in Orillia.
This year’s theme is “A Day in the Life” and will showcase many of the career opportunities that empower our members to make a difference each day. Whether you are interested in becoming a police officer, auxiliary member (volunteer) or working in a civilian role, there has never been a better time to apply to the OPP.
The Orillia GHQ provincial recruitment day event will include a:
- Constable information session to provide participants the opportunity to gain knowledge, insight and helpful advice relating to the OPP’s recruitment process. The session includes an overview of how to apply, pre-requisites, expectations of an applicant, and an overview of how to prepare for each stage of the process, and;
- Career marketplace to provide participants an opportunity to learn and speak to different units about the wide array of positions that support our frontline, investigations, and administrative work.
