Orillia driver arrested twice within 12.5 hours: OPP

An Orillia man was recently arrested twice within a time frame of about 12-and-a-half-hours.

On Sept. 5, shortly before 11:30 p.m., South Bruce OPP received a report of a possible impaired driver on Tie Road in Kincardine. The driver received a 90-day licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.

On Sept. 6, shortly after 12 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer stopped an all-terrain vehicle on Campbell Street in Huron-Kinloss Township. The driver was the same person charged in Kincardine.

Gregory Ostertag, 41, was charged with operation while impaired (drugs), driving while under suspension, and possession of a Schedule 1 substance (methamphetamine).
