Orillia OPP stop 'aggressive' driver, prompting multiple charges

A 23-year-old driver from Ramara is facing charges after officers with the Orillia OPP detachment stopped a vehicle locally on Thursday.

Around 9:50 p.m., while on patrol in the area of Colborne Street East, officers stopped a vehicle that police say was being driven aggressively.

As a result of the investigation, Keghan Lepard has been charged with:

  • operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs
  • operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • adult operate a motor vehicle without insurance
  • adult no clear view to front
  • adult drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit
  • adult drive with windshield coated - view obstructed

The suspect's drivers licence has been suspended for 90 days while the vehicle was impounded for seven days as well.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court in November to face the charges.
