An Orillia teen is facing multiple charges including forgery and impaired driving after police found the man unconscious in a vehicle outside of the Ontario Provincial Police Central Region Headquarters over the weekend.
Around 11 a.m. Saturday, police were alerted to an unconscious person in a vehicle in the parking lot of the police facility on Hurtubise Drive, just off the Highway 12 bypass.
Upon finding the teen, officers investigated and ultimately arrested the individual.
As a result, Patrick McGinley has been charged with:
- have care or control of motor vehicle with open container of liquor
- driving motor vehicle with unsealed container of liquor
- novice driver - B.A.C. above zero
- young driver - B.A.C. above zero
- operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
- adult forgery
The accused is scheduled to appear in court to answer to the charges on Sept. 17, 2024.
