Police raid Gravenhurst home, charge three with weapon offences

A search of a Gravenhurst home has led to weapon charges being laid against three people.

A search warrant was executed Wednesday at a residence on Ure Road, where police seized a loaded gun, Bracebridge OPP stated in a news release.

Tawnya McKnight, 55, of Gravenhurst, Aaron Quinn, 45, of Gravenhurst, and Nathan White, 25, of North York, have been charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm. White has also been charged with obstructing a peace officer and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.

McKnight and Quinn have a Nov. 5 court date in Bracebridge. White was held in custody and was set to appear Thursday in Bracebridge court.
