Police have released images of a person and a vehicle in relation to a shooting earlier this month on Barrie Road in Orillia.
On Sept. 3, shortly after 9:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a firearm being discharged on Barrie Road, near Dunlop Street.
On Wednesday, Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka posted images to its X (formerly Twitter) account, noting Orillia OPP is seeking information about a 2007 black Ford Mustang and looking to identify the person shown. The Mustang was stolen Sept. 3 and later involved in the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestopperssdm.com.
