MIDLAND - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Southern Georgian Bay detachment executed a search warrant at a residence on Viking Marina Road in Severn Township at approximately 8 p.m. on May 22, 2019.
The warrant was executed as a result of an ongoing investigation into stolen property and firearms related offences.
As a result of the search warrant police seized a stolen 2003 Audi, various ammunition and a hand-gun style pellet gun.
Arrested and charged is 18-year-old Damon Wright from Severn Township with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failing to comply with recognizance of bail.
Gillian Lachapelle, 32-years-old, from Midland was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant.
Both were held for a show cause hearing on May 23, 2019 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie.
