Police are looking for a driver after a teen was injured in a hit-and-run in Gravenhurst.
On Nov. 18 at about 8:45 a.m., a 15-year-old had started to cross the intersection at the corner of James Street and Muskoka Road when an eastbound vehicle made a right turn onto Muskoka Road and struck the youth. The driver of the vehicle, a blue four-door hatchback style, fled the scene, Bracebridge OPP said in a news release. The youth was treated for minor injuries.
Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about the incident is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestopperssdm.com.
