A report of suspicious persons at Six Mile Lake Provincial Park in Georgian Bay Township has led to stolen property being recovered and three people being charged.

Shortly after 8 p.m. Sept. 29, police received a report of suspicious persons in vehicles at the park. Officers located three people and a white Ford van with a U-Haul trailer attached.

Police recovered a stolen van, a trailer, numerous Ontario licence plates, and break-and-enter tools, Southern Georgian Bay OPP said in a news release.

Michael McCormick, 42, of Burlington, Jessica Resendes Miller, 30, of Oakville, and Larry Allen Payne, 33, of Ancaster, have each been charged with six counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and one count of possession of break-in instruments.
