Three drivers face impaired charges after weekend incidents: OPP

One driver ended up in a ditch on Friday night, police say

A ditched vehicle lead to the arrest of a Gravenhurst driver on the evening of Jan. 26.

Bracebridge OPP responded to Muskoka Road 169 near Redwood Road in Muskoka Lakes Township at around 9 p.m. after receiving a call regarding a vehicle in a ditch.

As a result of this investigation, 26-year-old David Baldwin was arrested and charged with:
    •    Operation While Impaired CC 320.14(1)(b)
    •    Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition CC 92(2)
    •    Fail to Comply with Release Order CC 145(5)(a) X 2

Two other area drivers face impaired charges in unrelated weekend incidents.

Scott Mansbridge, 60, of Huntsville was arrested after officers responded to a dispute call on Peninsula Road in Gravenhurst on the evening of Jan. 27. He was charged with impaired operation CC 320.14(1)(a).

In the early morning hours of Jan. 28, OPP received a call regarding a motorist whose ability to drive may have been impaired by alcohol. The individual was located and stopped on Bethune Drive in Gravenhurst. Jennifer Racicot, 47, of Gravenhurst was arrested and charged with operation while impaired - over 80 CC 320.14(1)(b).

All three drivers are scheduled to appear in court at later dates.
