Once again we need to call for the support of citizens in Orillia to come out Saturday, Feb. 1 at Rotary Place Arena and loudly cheer on our team.
The Terriers are a well-coached, fast skating, aggressive group of young men that play for the love of the game. Terriers are carrying a 27-3 record while the Alliston team is currently undefeated in regulation games at 32-0.
Our Terriers are the only team in the league that will give Alliston a run for the title. Alliston will show up with loads of their noisy supporters, expecting another victory, but we plan on a little surprise for them this Saturday.
We need you to bring the kids, bring a friend, forget about sitting on the couch watching the boring Maple Leafs. Seniors and retirees ... put away your checker boards and bring your energy to the rink.
Buy a program for a chance to win one of the prizes donated by the supportive merchants and businesses in Orillia. Buy some 50/50 tickets and maybe go home a few hundred dollars richer.
Visit the lounge both before and between periods of the game and enjoy one of your favourite beverages. Our crowds are growing ... two weeks ago more than 450 fans but this week we would like to see 600 The team is stronger and with the spirit you can bring, we can and will topple the Alliston team from their undefeated record.
