A Gravenhurst man is facing charges after police say he fled the scene of a collision last week in Bracebridge.
On Oct. 18 at 5:35 p.m., emergency crews were called to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 11 South, near Highway 118. Witnesses told police a vehicle struck another and the driver fled the scene, Bracebridge OPP said in a news release. The vehicle was located on Winhara Road and the driver was arrested.
Kevin Buker, 39, has been charged with operation while prohibited and failure to stop after an accident. He has a Nov. 19 court date in Bracebridge, and the vehicle he was driving will be impounded for 45 days.
