Area OPP and the Ontario Fire Marshal are investigating a fatal fire that took place last night in Wasaga Beach.
According to Huronia West OPP, the fire call came in at 6:15 p.m. on Nov. 5 and one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fire at the home on Dunkerron Avenue has been deemed non-suspicious, however police and the fire marshal investigate all fatal fires.
"The investigation is ongoing. Residents in the area should expect a continued presence of police and emergency services throughout the day," states the news release.
