Shortly before 7 p.m. Aug. 31, 2019 with the assistance of a member of the public, OPP officers located the missing male safe in Midland.

Officers wish to thank the public and our social media friends for their assistance in this investigation.

MIDLAND - Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently attempting to locate a missing male from the Midland area. Officers are looking for David King who is 55 years of age and is a Midland resident. He was last seen leaving his Midland home on August 30, 2019 at 2 p.m. and has not been heard from since.

He is described as being a white male, 191cm tall, medium build, grey hair, blue eyes wearing blue jeans, black shoes and a t-shirt.

He may be in possession of a 1999 Buick grey in colour bearing Ontario plate # AWKT065 and his family ties are in the Midland area. Family has a concern for his well being and that his disappearance is out of character for him.

Police, family and friends are asking for the public's assistance in locating the missing male and ask that any information be provided to the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
