The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating an incident where an injured female was found at Couchiching Park in the City of Orillia.
On May 09, 2018 approximately 9 p.m. police were called to Couchiching Park in Orillia where an unconscious injured female was located. The female was transported to an Orillia area hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
Police are seeking witnesses who may have seen an altercation, disturbance or female in distress at Couchiching Park on May 9, 2018 between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
The Orillia Crime Unit along with the Orillia OPP continues to investigate this incident. If anyone witnessed this or has information regarding the circumstances they are encouraged to contact the Orillia OPP at 705-326-3536 or 1-888-310-1122.
